THE SKIING

The Elfer slopes immediately beside the village with a new 8-man gondola offer fun intermediate skiing, nearby Fulpmes has a further excellent ski area, Schlick 2000, and the real icing on the cake is the guaranteed snow on the Stubai glacier area, approx. 25-30 minutes free ski-bus ride from Neustift, and known throughout the ski world for its great snow, incredible scenery, and range and variety of slopes. All three areas are covered by the Stubai Super-Ski area lift pass.

We have extended our Esprit-exclusive complimentary private bus service to the glacier (in addition to the resort's own ski-buses of course), and now offer transfers for children and parents in the morning, to allow a more leisurely start to the day, and also a return transfer for everyone from the glacier once each afternoon. Children may also be escorted by our child care staff on the normal ski-bus, depending on the timing of their lessons.

FAMILIES
The Neustift ski instructors are highly recommended by our guests and the "Ski Club Micky Maus" characters were a huge hit with the children! There is a Children's Activity Centre on the glacier at Gamsgarten, as well as a magic carpet and 'mini-land', so an ideal area for children and parents alike.

BEGINNERS
Neustift has its own village beginner slopes, and there are also excellent beginner areas up on the Stubai Glacier, and some wonderful wide open blue runs to move onto after the first couple of days.

INTERMEDIATES
If you like a choice of moguls, huge wide-open powder bowls and long cruising runs, then the Stubai Glacier is for you. The snow is guaranteed here and it is truly an intermediate's paradise. The Schlick 2000 area above Fulpmes is also well worth a visit.

ADVANCED
Advanced skiers can sample any one of the superb 100kms of runs in this area. The glacier guarantees snow and offers sensational powder and a 10km run down to the valley for experienced skiers rounds off a great ski area.

POWDER POTENTIAL
Excellent, especially of course on the glacier, where there is a choice of huge open bowls or the many long marked but unpisted routes.

SNOWBOARDING
Neustift is a popular choice, with a fun-park on the glacier offering a half-pipe, two quarter-pipes, a table-top and jump, and two runs designated as 'snowboarder priority'. Fulpmes also has its own fun-park on the Schlick 2000 area.
