FAMILIES

Selva prides itself on the enthusiastic, genuine and traditionally Italian
welcome it gives to families. One of the ski tour routes is specifically
designed for children, incorporating several obstacle courses and fantastic
ski play areas. Children will feel at home here, with as much to do off as
on the slopes.
BEGINNERS

The immediate village is well served by nursery slopes and once a little
confidence has been gained, beginners will enjoy the extent of blue slopes
further across the network.
INTERMEDIATES

Intermediates couldn’t wish for more! For those who like their ski-day to
have a ‘goal’, there are 16 pre-planned ski-tours ready for exploration,
taking you right across the vast Dolomites Superski region. No day need ever
cover the same slopes and there is plenty of variety to be had, all sharing
the same magnificent scenery.
ADVANCED

Ski the Men’s World Cup Downhill in St Cristina and pound those knees! More
testing runs are in the Arabba area of the Dolomites Superski, linked to
Selva and part of the famous Sella Ronda. Here the challenging black runs
down the Soura Sass are guaranteed to get the pulse of even the most expert
skier racing.
POWDER POTENTIAL

There are several incredible unpisted runs down to St Cristina from the Alpe
di Siusi. Hiring a guide is the best way to discover the little-known and
little-used powder runs.
SNOWBOARDING

Selva is ideally suited to free-ride boarders wanting to cover some ground
and ride the day away, enjoying the natural terrain. For freestylers, Selva
offers a small fun-park, and there are other, larger parks in Canazei, Plan
de Gralba and Cortina – all covered on your area lift pass.
